Energy Innovation NL is the driving force behind innovations that are necessary for the transition to an affordable, reliable, resilient and sustainable energy system. The Dutch Knowledge and Innovation Agenda determines the priorities of Energy Innovation NL. The specific innovation agenda of the Industry Team focuses on the following topics: • Hydrogen: full hydrogen chain as well as the system role that hydrogen can play • Green gases from biomass through different processes, such as digestion, gasification and supercritical water gasification • Capture, Utilisation and Storage of CO2 • Hydrogen is a cross-cutting theme because it deals with all sectors of our national climate agreement as well as addressing the system role which could be beneficial for all stakeholders in the energy transition. Our main activities include 3 types: • roadmapping, such as defining innovation agendas together with stakeholders in our innovation ecosystem • facilitating innovators, for example finding partners, matchmaking and access to funding opportunities • communication and dissemination on activities, innovation projects, research programmes and relevant developments. We help innovators to contribute to the energy transition.
