Important progress has been made to close the bridge to commercial scale installations for the Hynoca® technology by Haffner Energy. We have the H6 installation for decentral hydrogen production for local application with an output of 50kg/hr full cell grade hydrogen. For a bigger solution we have the S-iC installation with an output of 470 kg/hr. With both an availability of 8.000 hours the annual production for the C-iC will be 400 ton and for the S-iC this will be 3.760 ton. The biomass input for the C-iC is 2MW being about 4.500 ton/year for the C-iC and 43.000 ton for the S-iC. With an electricity consumption of 5kWh/kg hydrogen we offer interesting solutions where the cost price of a kg H2 at 30 bar !!! will be below €2,40.
Some interesting biomass examples are, (demolition) wood, short rotation coppice, digestate from a biogas plant and sludge cake. HyDevCo can be technology supplier, project partner, or developer. The Core of the Hynoca installation is identical for hydrogen, methanol or syngas production. With the selected TRL 9 downstream technology we get the output fitting with your needs. This makes the Hynoca technology a spider in the web in the energy transition.
